The modern-day definition of the word Palladion is “anything
believed to provide protection or safety; safeguard.” In
Greek mythology, Palladion was “a statue of Athena, the Greek
goddess of wisdom & craftsmanship, that stood on the citadel of
Troy and on which the safety of the city was supposed to depend.” Athena
is portrayed as benevolent, strong, and fair.
When I developed the concept for The Palladion Company years
ago, it was based on these principles and a desire to provide a well-rounded
offering of services that customers would typically have to go to multiple
vendors to find. Having experienced the challenges of facility
maintenance, new store builds, and routine repairs from within an organization,
it was my motivation to provide a more streamlined, consistent and
passionate approach to satisfying those needs for other companies through
the development of my own.
Communication is the key element in this model for success. By
offering one point of contact, that communication is streamlined and
it becomes easier for our customers to find the resources they need
to complete their projects – large or small. My goal is
and always has been to perform at a level that allows our customers
to focus on running their businesses rather than managing their service
providers. If we’re doing our job, that’s exactly
what happens.
The result was as predicted – company and customer working
toward common goals and mutually beneficial, ongoing business relationships. This
is possible only through the commitment of our people to deliver a
quality product and service that exceeds our customers’ expectations,
at a price deemed reasonable, within an effectively executed schedule. The
Palladion Company’s success is dependent upon and ensured by
the success of each individual that is associated with the company.
